I fear not death
Not the end of my own life.
I know who's I am
And where I am bound.
AfterLife
But I fear the death of the ones I love.
The pain that their abandonment brings.
The emptiness cast into the souls
Of those left behind.
After. Death.
The gapping black void
Within the house that was once a home.
The tearful lonliness
The sleepless nights.
I know far to well the pain Death brings.
And learned it at far too young an age.
Life. Afterdeath
I saw it shatter my world.
I watched it rip through my life
With hurricanic tenacity
I watched storm clouds gather over my soul
Memories of my loved ones
Vanished.
As if they never existed.
But the nameless void still remains.
Unplaced.
Undetected.
Unresolved... Issues.
Death. AfterLife
